Installing Door Access Systems
Before your unit or building purchases or even researches any door access system, contact i-card Programs. Why? There are two primary reasons:
- Some contactless devices cost more, and units or cardholders must bear that cost.
- i-card Programs may change the configuration or coding of device
data at any time, and we cannot accommodate units that use device (card)
data without our knowledge.
i-card Programs is the sole authorized distributor of
i-cards and identifying devices produced at or for the University of
Illinois. Identifying technologies include, but are not limited to,
magnetic stripe, bar code, proximity wire, RFID, biometrics, and
contactless chips, such as iCLASS. Our oversight also includes devices that are not
assigned to an individual.
